For this tutorial, we are using a small 18" furoshiki wrap. The dimensions of the jewelry box are 7" x 5.5" x 1".

Place your furoshiki wrap face down on a flat surface and position your jewelry box near the corner nearest you. 

Draw the corner of the wrap closest to the box over its top, draping it gently and letting the fabric flow around the box.

Then begin rolling the box toward the opposite corner of the wrap — letting the fabric enfold the box in soft folds.

Continue rolling until every inch of excess material is wrapped around the box.

until all access fabric has been wrapped around the jewelry box.

Gather the remaining fabric at each end and fold it atop the box, and bring the final two ends together.

and tie them in a double knot 

or a bow!

and you're done! Now you have an elevated gift wrap as thoughtful as the gift inside.
