Wrap a Gift Box
You can save yourself the hunt through your junk drawer for the scotch tape. You won't need any tools to wrap your gift, just get started by laying your furoshiki wrap face down on a flat surface.
For this tutorial, we are using a medium (28") furoshiki wrap. The dimensions of the gift box are 7"x 7" x 4".

Place your gift box in the middle of the wrap

and spin it forty-five degrees so that the edges of the box are perpendicular with the edges of the furoshiki wrap.

Grab two opposite corners of the wrap and lift them overtop of the gift box.

Tie them in a tight double knot on top of the gift box.

Gather the other two corners of the wrap and them in a double knot on top of your first knot.

Fluff out the corners so that they look like a bow.

And that's it! No tape, no scissors - just a beautifully and thoughtfully wrapped gift and a furoshiki that will be reused and repurposed for years to come.
