Full Moon | Small Cotton Furoshiki Wrap
Full Moon | Small Cotton Furoshiki Wrap
Gorgeous, sustainable and affordable, Wrappr is the simple, earth-loving alternative to disposable paper gift wrapping. Honouring Furoshiki, the 1,200-year-old Japanese tradition of fabric wrapping, each Wrappr is a gift in itself, designed to be repurposed or re-used and perfect for any season or celebration. Created by independent artists who love our planet as much as you do, every eco-friendly Wrappr reduces our carbon footprint, supports our creative community and makes the world a better, more beautiful place.
This small cotton furoshiki wrap featuring original artwork by Japanese street artist Bakeneko is perfect for wrapping gifts around the size of a tissue box. Dimensions are 46.5 cm. x 46.5 cm. square or 18.3 x 18.3 inches square.
Inspired by the Japanese moon viewing event, Tsukimi. The Japanese lettering around the moon reveals part of a traditional nursery rhyme that sings about rabbits hopping under the moon. The text reads:
“Rabbit, rabbit,
What do you see hopping around?
I hop about watching
The big full moon”
“Usagi, usagi,
nani mite haneru?
jyuugoya otsukisama
mite haneru”
